Terms of Service
Please review these Terms before accessing Stitcher. Continued use confirms your acceptance and agreement to comply with the restrictions that flow down from Alibaba WAN 2.2 and Apache 2.0.
Last updated: November 19, 2025
1. Scope of Service
Stitcher provides a hosted interface (stitcher.video and associated APIs) for generating text-to-video and image-to-video media using Alibaba's WAN 2.2 foundation models. The service is invitation-only during alpha and may evolve as we improve rendering fidelity, authentication, and storage workflows.
During the primary “local server” deployment, you install a Stitcher relay/tunnel on hardware you control. Prompts, controls, and telemetry flow from the hosted UI (currently deployed on Vercel) to your device via authenticated API keys, while inference executes entirely on your GPU. Outputs remain on your infrastructure except when you explicitly sync clips back to the Stitcher interface for preview or download. You are responsible for securing and maintaining that on-premise environment.
We also plan to offer an optional Stitcher-managed cloud GPU tier that runs on RunPod clusters located in the United States. When enabled, prompts and rendered frames for those specific jobs will traverse Stitcher’s RunPod tenancy under these Terms, and we may impose additional usage limits or fees tied to that infrastructure.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate registration details, and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for every action that occurs under your workspace, including actions taken by team members you invite. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or attempt to bypass security and quota controls.
API keys and relay tokens supplied for the Stitcher tunnel or any managed GPU capacity must be stored securely. You are responsible for promptly revoking compromised keys and notifying us about unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable Use and Legal Compliance
You may not use Stitcher to create or distribute content that is illegal, exploitative, harassing, hateful, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. Prompts that facilitate violence, terrorism, biological, chemical, or nuclear weaponization, child sexual abuse material, or other malicious activity are strictly prohibited.
You must comply with all applicable laws, export controls, and sanctions. Because WAN 2.2 is licensed under Apache 2.0 and accompanied by Alibaba's License Agreement, we flow down their requirements: no malicious or illicit use, respect user ownership of generated outputs, and comply with WAN 2.2 model cards or use policies.
4. Service Changes, Availability, and Pricing
We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. When you run Stitcher locally, uptime and performance depend on your network, tunnel configuration, and GPU fleet; if they are offline we cannot process your jobs. If you opt into future managed RunPod capacity, we may impose duration caps (currently two minutes per clip), queueing, concurrency limits, or spending controls tied to the GPU-seconds Stitcher purchases on your behalf.
We may change or discontinue features upon reasonable notice when possible. If we materially change these Terms we will post the updated version with a new effective date; continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
5. Intellectual Property
Except for WAN 2.2 artifacts owned by Alibaba and third-party assets referenced herein, Stitcher owns the platform, documentation, and branding. These Terms do not transfer any Stitcher IP to you.
You retain ownership of prompts, uploads, and generated videos. You grant Stitcher a limited, revocable license to host, cache, transmit, and analyze those materials solely to provide and secure the service, fulfill support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STITCHER DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Output quality may vary and we do not guarantee that renders will meet your expectations or be free of artifacts.
To the fullest extent allowed, Stitcher's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim or (b) $100. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages except where prohibited by law.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, and both parties consent to that venue.
